the bank's footprint is very broad. it is strong in many emerging markets where other banks do not have much of a presence. in particular the bank has a very profitable business in china.
Cons
the culture at standard chartered bank is broken. harassment and bullying is rampant. there are a lot of unproductive and unprofessional people with limited skills at this bank
