Pros
I love the neighborhood, a lot of growth opportunities because the company is so large with so many different brands, I had wonderful co workers and several very supportive managers, tuition reimbursement was great and there are some other good perks and benefits
Cons
Some upper management is a bit toxic and those attitudes can trickle down into the day to day at times, nepotism hires are very much a thing, I think the company is invested in an old-school, dated idea of what the company culture should be and is too hesitant to modernize and become a contemporary company which will be detrimental to them in the long run. I gave four stars though because I spent a few years there and am thankful for the experiences I had during my time at SM. The company is very large and I would say that your day to day experiences are really going to depend on your direct manager and the teams you work with. I knew some people with very difficult bosses who did not have as favorable of a time at the company as I did.
