Pros
The only positive thing going for the firm is the compensation. That said, they make you work for it with poor work life balance.
Cons
Many downsides to share. I will give a few. There is no collaboration at S&. It is very top heavy and partners have a say in everything. There are very few learning opportunities because of this. No one wants to give you a hand because leaders do not have time for you. They also gaslight you as if the issues are your fault when they clearly are not. No upward feedback and minimal critical thinking for their subordinates. Leaders of the firm only care about making their target. They couldn't care less about the people in their group. If you have a chance, do not join this firm. Toxic culture. Do not join just because of the money.
