Pros
Annual leave is not bad
Cons
Can only speak from my experience in a certain team/department, can't say that it is the same for the whole company. Performative work. Not showing that you are working right in front of them = not working, hence 0 WFH days. So many meetings that could have been an email, many meetings with no agenda stated. Senior management just do whatever they want. Repeating that they hear the people but do not internalize and understand their pains. Micromanage the juniors and everyone to do everything exactly the way they want it. Have zero regards for others and their time, only thing they care about is themselves and how they are perceived by higher management. Almost every meeting involves senior management raising their voices, scolding people and demanding things, and it’s clear that most people are unhappy working under them. Middle management are rather non technical, which does not reflect well in a tech company. They try their very best to not do work. Company pays out bonus for the preceding year. (e.g. company variable bonus paid out in Dec 2026 is for work done in 2025 -> employee who enters in Jun/Jul 2025 will get prorated bonus in Dec 2026) Can tell how much people do not want to be there by this kind of tactics used to retain employees.
