Pros
Overall the corporate is trying to focus on its employees. The salary and benefits are pretty good in some areas: 6% 401k match, PTO policy (3 week to start + medical and holidays), and average in other areas like medical
Cons
Your overall experience with the company depends on the contract you are working on. From my own experience working on a large project, combined with what I heard from peers in other projects: - Management is selected primarily on government political correctness criteria, and not as much on professional competence. This may set a negative tone for the project and/or teams you are part of. - A great deal of miscommunication and disorganization, a direct corollary to the point above. I heard of employees not even sure what their expected role is, or expectations differ from the interview, day-to-day tasks hard or impossible to perform, the list goes on and on - Favoritism, throwing people under the bus, hiding reality from customers, etc, etc. Your mileage may vary by project.
