Pros
There are lots of different roles to do as an associate and you can often move laterally within the branch if you don't prefer being customer facing or such. Most associates are well hired and there are very rarely hires that aren't hard working and kind people.
Cons
The pay and benefits have been stripped back over the last few years and the company has expected more from giving their employees less. There are also less opportunities for moving up in this company with little training provided and you will often be waiting years before climbing up. This will also be dependant on the managers you have but in most cases, management actively ignore associate concerns. There are also many instances of unprofessional behaviour that are unfortunately enabled by human resources who consist of members of management.
