Pros
Teammates are great, colleagues care, healthcare team and administrative support staff know their stuff and work hard. It's a place you want to come to work
Cons
Director at the 333 Bay St office demonstrates an immense lack of leadership, and people skills that has become (unfortunately) more and more apparent since the leave of the old nursing manager in early 2021. Anyone can "manage", but it takes way more than that to lead a team, especially one paving the way for progressive healthcare. As an employee we get that management cannot control everything we may want (like increased opportunities for growth, or salary raises, or opportunities for flexible scheduling). There is no room in any organization for unprofessionalism, passive aggressiveness, lack of support and inconsistency especially when it comes with gaslighting and word games. I'm not surprised to many people have continued to leave the organization (we had 4 resign in a single day in April). Unfortunate because Telus itself has a pretty good name.
