Pros
Used to be too scale pay, now that isn’t even the best, but it’s still decent. The direction this company is headed it won’t be around long enough for a career. Upper management doesn’t seem to care what is going on they just want to run it like UPD (who failed in the freight division terribly).
Cons
Poor communication from upper management (like nonexistent). There are not enough employees to actually do the jobs correctly, and when it is light enough volume upper management forces them to cut back on drivers so that there still aren’t enough drivers to get the job done. Upper management claims they need to get away from the UPS mentality (because it simply doesn’t work for LTL), and yet they refuse to get away from the IPS way of doing things(which again is why UPS failed in freight to start with).
