TSP Response
2yHello and thanks for taking the time to provide both us, as well as the Glassdoor community, your insight into your years with us.
Right off the bat, you hit on a number of areas that we take immense pride — providing our employees the flexibility and self-ownership that many people strive to find in other areas outside our company. Our tagline, "Our product is our people", is genuine and we live by that mantra day in and day out. We take great pride in the people we hire, as we've said constantly, we value top technical expertise and we only hire the best and brightest, putting our clients first and hiring the best people to ensure things get done right.
You also raise valid concerns. Every year, we conduct extensive market research to ensure the compensation offered is as good as it possibly can be — if it wasn't, we'd constantly be losing out on the best employees, but we're not — there's a reason that we're considered by some of our clients as being the best kept secret in the IT space. That being said, there are some instances in which pay is dictated by client bill rates, and in those circumstances, we make every honest effort to ensure rates are reviewed every renewal cycle. But when en employee is brought on — after they've read through the scope of work before applying all the way through the interview process — there is complete transparency, especially with the level of pay offered and accepted, as well as the prospect of some positions requiring periods of being on-call.
There are numerous other aspects that our employees love — our benefits, our 401K program, our Seeds to Leads program, our free training and certifications via TSP University, and especially (like you mentioned) the flexibility and autonomy. We also strongly advocate for open and direct conversations with your manager — one of our company tenets is "real conversations are welcomed". Have an open conversation with your manager and explore your options for a pay raise.
While we're certainly not perfect, we take feedback and thoughtful insight, like yours, to heart and do our best to find better ways to serve our employees — thank you for being one of those employees.
