Pros

Overall, we do some quality work for our clients, even though the job has very little to do with consulting.

Cons

The company has grown a lot in the past 4 years and that growth has given team members huge scope for development... However, as it happens in such cases, some people were given management responsibilities without any preparation (or predispositions). We advertise ourselves as not KPI driven, however the management will bring your KPIs up whenever it is convenient for them. The scope of our roles is very unclear and the onboarding program in our company is poor and confusing. People who have been in the company for more than 2 years, tend to think that everyone who joins 'should know that' and you are not supposed to ask questions. Those who ask questions are not 'senior enough' or are not 'client-ready'. The management style would be best described as focused on negative feedback, because, as they don't know what to expect of you, they don't really know when you do well. Plus, if you are seen with the wrong crowd, your quarterly rankings will suffer. It is all about 'perception' and 'senior management exposure'.

Pros

Very understanding when it comes to needing afternoons/morning off for appointments. Full remote was an easy transition and they have implemented programs to make sure everyone can work effectively from home.

Cons

Smaller company so learning and development is up to the individual.

Pros

- Small organization that gives people the opportunity to learn, grow, and progress rapidly if they put in the work. - I felt like my managers listened to me regarding what projects or experiences I wanted to accomplish for my own personal growth. - Leadership team sits in Chicago office and is very accessible. Opportunities to work on one-off projects with CEO/SVP. - Great culture! Happy hours on Friday, pool table in the office, a work hard/play hard atmosphere. Week between Christmas/New Years the office closes. - Autonomy - if you are the type of individual that is self-driven, it is an environment where you will shine.

Cons

- A lot of the work is long-term projects that can last 6-12 months. At times it can be a little monotonous. The managers I worked with were very good about switching my focus to different industries or clients to liven things up. - Benefits are pretty standard. Would like to see a better 401k match, but at a smaller organization that may not be possible.
