I had the privilege of being a part of this company from its early startup days, a promising venture that seemed poised for greatness. The atmosphere was electric, innovation was at the core of everything we did, and the team was incredibly talented. However, what could have been a success story quickly turned into a nightmare. After a successful fundraising round, everything appeared to be on the right track. However, that's when things started to take a turn for the worse. Questionable decisions were made by the leadership, veering the company away from its initial mission. The most glaring change was the mass layoffs that followed the fundraising (3 rounds). Suddenly, many talented and dedicated colleagues were let go without warning. The company's atmosphere deteriorated rapidly. Employee morale hit rock bottom as everyone feared being the next in line for layoffs. Promising projects were put on hold, and innovation was sacrificed for short-term profitability. Internal communication became non-existent, broken promises piled up, and the company's ethics were called into question. It was heart-wrenching to witness a company with so much potential transform into an empty shell of what it once was. In the end, I cannot recommend this company to anyone seeking a stable and fulfilling work environment. It lost its soul after the fundraising, and the initial vision that had inspired all of us was completely abandoned.
