Pros

If you are someone who enjoys working long hours, talking about people behind their back or having people talk about your behind your back, feeling forced to make this job your life, then this would be a great opportunity for you. The work the company does is great but it's drowned out by the day to day hassles and obstacles of working there. During the interview, you'll think "wow this is a growing company but they all seem really nice and they want to help me grow." 6 months later you will realize that this is not the case but you'll continue trying to learn your job and get good at it. One year later you face the fact that the company has a multitude of issues and they don't want to help you to progress. Don't waste your time.

Cons

This company has so much potential but poor management has created high turnover, several annoyed clients, and no true professional development in their employees. Many of us were eager to grow with the company but the lack of constructive feedback and bandwidth to manage the teams caused several employees to leave HQ over the last 2 years. Being acquired by System One only exposed these deficiencies that have always been there. Those managing don't have bandwidth to actually manage the team and they continue to get promoted because of their time with the company.

Thank you for providing this feedback. We are sorry that you had this experience working for us. At TeamPeople, it is the expectation that our employees and freelancers collaborate for the success of the greater team and the advancement of our business and our clients’ objectives. We have an open-door policy, and we are transparent in our approach. We value authenticity, constructive feedback and a passion for the video and media industry. Our managers at HQ and at our client locations must produce results on a variety of fronts. We hear what you are saying about delegation and communication and we are taking new approaches with reporting structure and coaching so that no one feels as if they’re not supported or are left with a lasting negative impression. In the past 3 years, we have invested hundreds of thousands of dollars in employee development through structured seminars, tuition reimbursement, online training, on-the-job training, industry events and memberships as well as ANSI and association certifications. Employing the tools offered requires action on the part of senior leadership, managers and individual contributors themselves. As we transform as a part of System One, the core values that made us successful will remain and we now have greater capacity for innovation. We are a work in progress and remain grateful for the time people spend working with us. Again, thank you for the feedback and we wish you the best on your chosen path.

Pros

Leadership is very supportive and culture is amazing. Interesting clients and plenty of growth opportunties if you are smart & diligent.

Cons

Benefits could be stronger (expl. 401K match) and deadlines can be demanding (but this is no news in finance/ accounting).

Pros

Good technical stuff. Good benefits.

Cons

Disrespectful and lying management. Management do not care about employees. I wanted to say, if they promise you something, get it in writing, but in my experience, even if you have it in writing, they will not care. Emails to hire management not responded, wage theft, people removed to make space for manager friends.
