Pros
Despite some of the negative reviews below, I have found Teneo to be an incredible place to work. As a relatively junior employee you have the opportunity to interact regularly with senior management and to work on a daily basis with very talented senior professionals that are dedicated to making sure you develop the skills you need to have a long and successful career. I feel that I have learned a great deal during my time with the firm and had the opportunity to work with some of the biggest companies in the world that make up the Teneo client base. The company has a strong emerging culture (only 5 years old) and there are a variety of employee engagement and philanthropic activities that take place on a regular basis. Also, despite what might be written in some comments below the firm is increasingly diverse (I believe over 50% of the company are women) and there are many senior women who play critical roles across the firm. Overall, Teneo is great company to work for and I would highly recommend the firm to people interested in a challenging career.
Cons
While not necessarily a con, people need to understand that in order be successful at Teneo you are going to have to work hard and you will get out of the experience what you put into it. The founders of Teneo are building a new breed of advisory firm and it is something people should be excited to be a part of.
