Pros

Direct superiors were exceptional. They has a clear idea of everyone's roles and as long as you did your job, they would go out of their way to make sure they could make things as smooth as possible. You always felt comfortable asking questions and they were realistic about dealing with mistakes. The best bosses I've had were with this company. Work life balance was achievable. As a seasonal company time off and flexibility is limited during the busy seasons, but they will still try to work with you. If it was possible to grant requests they would. Benefits and commission were enough to encourage a good work ethic. There was a sense of competition, but in a healthy way. You knew you were working as part of a team and could count on your co-workers to have your back. Though not the most amazing food, you also get one free meal a day.

Cons

Typical of the Jackson area in general, housing is tight. The company really has zero ability to assist with finding a place to live. In the reservations area at least, there is nowhere to advance. I chose not to return to the company because I watched employees who had been at the same job for many years deal with the frustration of this. Management did try-- they created new job titles, etc. However, in the end the new jobs were merely a modified version of the old. There also seemed to be a disconnect between the teams (specifically reservations and front desk). This extended to management in other departments, unfortunately. When I left they were planning to cross-train to solve the issues, so perhaps that has been resolved by now.
