Pros
The organization has grown significantly over the past couple of years, and with that growth have come some challenges. However, it’s been a breath of fresh air to see the new leadership actively working to clarify the organization’s focus, strategy, and culture. There is a strong emphasis on collaboration and connectivity, which is especially welcome given that the historical culture was more competitive and siloed (and disorganized).
Cons
Things have improved significantly with the leadership, but the organization is still taking on a great deal. We are all very mission driven, which makes it important to be intentional about maintaining work/life boundaries. That said, there is strong support for this across the organization, including a company wide week off in the summer when everyone takes leave at the same time and ample PTO.
