Pros
- Most employees (over 95%, I think) are approachable, easy to work with, and don't get egotistical about their work
- Work/life balance
- Ability for most employees to work remotely
- Mostly positive attitudes
- Agile workplace not only in tech development, but also in HR. Hence, there has been improvements in many areas
- Improvement in workload and development deadlines for those who a previous reviewer talked about when deadlines are too close
- Lunch twice a week served courtesy of the company
- Very good benefits. I never worry about the cost of healthcare
Cons
There have been questionable choices of hiring that makes me wonder how much longer it will take the company to turn a profit.
Some people are not paid what they are worth, which I think is why they leave. That's too bad, since the product is worth spending more on the salaries of those who can make it even better.
The company is lacking technical oversight. There are too many differences in how different teams approach the product.
In spite of the ability to work remotely, a lot of employees are not good with IM or keeping communication open and letting the rest of team know what's going on, so a lot of time gets wasted from work-doubling and resulting inefficiency from not getting "the memo."
Morgan left. He was a spirit-lifter and pushed to get us decent bonuses.
