      Pros

      Top notch product, lots of talented coworkers, best in class content. Remote environment.

      Cons

      Currently without direction. COO left after our acquisition, and business growth has suffered since. The Head of People left after acquisition, HR has significantly suffered. At one point, the entire HR operation was a single Executive Assistant. Value is directly correlated with how much you work. If you aren’t working 7 days a week, you’re worthless. You will be underpaid, because you ‘work in sports’. You will be overworked because you ‘work in sports’.

      Pros

      This is a great company to work for. Everyone is nice. The product is interesting if you enjoy sports. There is a great engineering culture and the managers are great mentors.

      Cons

      Pay is average or below average. There are tight deadlines due to the nature of sporting events and seasonality.

      My colleagues were the best part.

      Cons

      Action Network used to be an exciting, vibrant place to work but has since turned into a toxic workplace. The leadership is quite poor and never held accountable. Over 100 people were laid off a few months ago and none of the executives took ownership. The CEO, COO and other execs in the U.S. have watched the stock tank 60% YoY and they continue to get raises and fat salaries. Nice setup.
