Pros
I think Hanover is really turning it around. There is a positive, energetic buzz that permeates the organization. Management is incisive, quick to react, motivating and quirky. I don't know Fred but the regional execs are ture leaders and try hard to make themselves accessible.The working culture is surprisingly fun. benefits are quite good.
Cons
Fred E. does not have a good rep within the organization. He is felt to be disengaged and bipolar. There is a fair bit of discord between the lines of business and "corporate." failures in the field are blamed on unresponsive claims department, slow underwriting and legal processes and accounting that attempts to lead the organization with an overly inflexible budget.
