Pros
The kids are fantastic, the technicians work so hard for the kids and are receptive to feedback and training. It genuinely feels like you get to change someone's life every day in some capacity - whether it's hearing a first word, seeing a technician make a connection, hearing a parent say "thank you" or the support you receive from the team members in all departments. TRFH is well-run and has evolved for the better every year that I've been employed. I take pride in the fact that our focus is truly on quality services in every capacity - not just how we deliver services. Whether you are in administration, HR, speech, direct services - you aren't just a number or an employee. You are welcomed, supported and expected to be the best version of you.
Cons
Building a positive work culture takes a lot of work. It stinks when non-supportive or toxic members attempt to change the culture.
