Pros
Flexible hours, nice coworkers, nice students.
Cons
They only give you a raise review every 18 months and they won’t mention when it’s time for your raise review, almost like they’re trying to avoid it. Only $1 per hour raise every 18 months. Low pay. Costco pays more per hour. They cram 32 students into 1 classroom and expect them to all pay attention for 2 hours. Large class sizes have been proven to not work in school systems, so why would they work outside of school? Parents complain when they schedule a home pickup for lesson 1 when their kid has never driven before because lessons are back to back and the student is not prepared to drive the previous student home. So the parents complain that their child isn’t driving for the full hour. They can’t drive for the full hour if they can’t drive yet to get the other student home and pick up the next student at the end of their lesson. Management always tells you when you did something incorrectly but they never give positive feedback. They don’t give us a reason to stay by making us feel valued.
