There is a lack of culture at TriNet, and it shows with the large amount of turnover. This review is for Procurement, where there are significant problems. Each day there was another threat for the smallest perceived infraction.
Directors and CMs did their best, but were beaten down from above. VP would ignore what was going on. Sad state of affairs. Since I was the 4th resignation from procurement in a month, I think they now realize (too late) that there is an issue when so many are jumping ship. If more leave, they will be at critical mass.
Had 5 managers in 3 1/2 years, so always had to go "sell" what I do to the next boss. The procurement transformation has been coming for 3 1/2 years, and they are still waiting. ELT does not respect procurement, we are an afterthought. Leave money on the table for most every deal.
There is no real Strategic Sourcing, all of the work mostly tactual. You get handed signed contracts, and told to get it paid. Procurement management can do nothing about it, since we are not respected from the top down.
I am so glad I left, I feel sorry for the folks left behind, since it takes 9-10 months to find candidates.
Career paths were non-existent. Since it did not affect upper management, it meant nothing to them.
