Poor financial compensation & inequitable compensation (positions with similar job descriptions & workloads have $20k pay difference because they are in different departments) Lack of logical / streamlined processes leads to no one following processes and new staff having little engagement in making improvements. HR has a fundamental disregard for staff's lived experience. Organization would rather turn over positions several times or hire an unqualified candidate than pay to retain an existing employee or hire the best candidate. This has lead to significant brain drain and higher workloads for staff who stay.
