Pros
It's been just over six months since I joined Turo and I couldn't be happier. This is a company that trusts its people and provides for and encourages career growth. From the start, I have felt welcome and appreciated. The company is also down-to-earth. I've had quite a few impromptu conversations with various leaders and I always felt like a peer and not like there was a title being held over my head. This culture is reflective of the company CEO who genuinely enjoys meeting employees of all levels and is clearly driven to create an amazing and unique work environment for us. Just last week, I attended my first "Turbo Week" where we got to learn about future initiatives across the company, spend time with our colleagues, and participate in some truly fun parties and events. Finally, Turo provides a competitive compensation package that also includes an annual budget for professional development. The office in SF has good snacks, comfortable working spaces, and is just a short walk from BART.
Cons
While I love going into the office 3 to 4 days per week, a lot of my colleagues work remotely during the week. This isn't a "con" for them but for me as I love having in-person meetings and seeing people without being on Zoom.
