get to go see people you would never meet when doing cold sales door to door

no salary, purely commission based, basically a pyramid scheme where you get a cut of commissions of people recruited into your team

This company is a con. They target young adults who are either recent university graduates looking for an entry level role or first time job seekers. They have very slick language eg they will tell you that they 'work along side' a variety of charities when in fact they door knock for those charities (and other corporations) and collect a commission on the takings - hardly working along side. They really worry me because they are so convincing that after the first interview you would think this was a fantastic marketing agency - not so. I am also worried about the time and expense young job seekers take in applying for roles and the deception the company takes to avoid being upfront about the fact that this is simply high pressure door knocking. I'm disappointed that this company has been able to set up in Australia and get away with this for the past 12 months. If you read this please don't waste your time here - there are far more reputable employers out there.
