Pros

- Town centre location so when you do need to get away from it then there is plenty around you. - Wide variety of projects - the guys that are on the coal face are the real hero’s of this place. - offices are fun with a typical agency styling

Cons

- Management. Hide behind the workers and blame them for their own mistakes - if your not in the “gang” then life can be pretty hard going and unpleasant - don’t follow through with promises - make sure they follow through with the promises they made in your contract. It’s usually made up, hollow promises to try and disguise the below market salary they offer. - expect to be in the office by 9am the morning after an all night deployment. There is no leeway, no remuneration and no appreciation - management have the “it’s your job” attitude even when you go over and above your job role. - HR do not follow up on complaints so wasted time! - travelling time is not classed as work time so even when you are travelling out of hours, there is no compensation for this! - the swapping and changing of projects is never productive. Does not help the moral of staff and produces a sub par project - don’t burn yourself out trying to please management. They don’t believe that’s “a thing”! - the company politics are the worst I have seen in any office I have been in!

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. I am really sorry that your experience at Kagool didn’t match our intention of being the best place you’ve worked. It’s great that you feel that the people are the heroes of Kagool, we pride ourselves on finding the best people to join the team and we have some of the best people working at Kagool. We are taking your feedback and where applicable addressing all the places we missed in delivering a great experience for you.... Thanks also for your advice. We’ve made quite a few changes recently which have helped solve the concerns around project and context shifting by introducing project teams. This has meant that our teams have specific projects that they’re allocated to work on. There will sometimes be cases whereby staff have been asked or made the decision to, put in extra hours in order to see a project or deliverable over the line. This is always greatly appreciated. We try to be as accommodating as possible when offering time back in lieu for any extra time put in, that we feel is over and above what is reasonably expected. And if any complaints are raised they’re taken very seriously and we act accordingly once a thorough investigation has been carried out. We apologise if you felt your complaint was not addressed. Thanks again for your feedback and we will be sure to consider as part of our on-going efforts to make Kagool a great place to work.

Pros

Unbelievably supportive and fantastic work environment. I worked with some of the nicest people I have ever met and greatly enjoyed my job. Employees socialize together and really get to know each other so it is a family-feel. A lot of companies talk about being a family but Kagool is one of those rare places where they actually practice it. Lot of opportunities for professional development.

Cons

None that I could see.

Pros

UNRVLD is a grown up agency with an amazing client roster, some super smart people both across the business and in the management team and a very flexible hybrid working policy (the best I have experienced). I would describe it as overall a very balanced agency - it's ambitious without putting growth at all costs, gives all the advantages of working in an agency environment (fast paced/variety and lots of autonomy) whilst providing a supportive working environment that is true to its promise of respecting work life balance. The senior management team is approachable and actively involved in both client and employee relationships and I feel confident that if I raise any issues or escalate any client concerns these will be responded to. Almost a year in I remain really happy with my choice to have joined UNRVLD.

Cons

Not a con per se but something I have had to get used to is that as a true multi location agency with offices in different locations you won't necessarily find yourself based out of the same home office as the team you work with. In my case the project team I work with is geographically dispersed so we rarely get to interact face to face. UNRVLD has facilitated an overnight team meeting (which was great) but the multi-locale set up has been a new experience for me.
