Pros
Full medical/dental coverage and guaranteed pay on the 1st/15th. You never have to worry if you will have a job the next day.
Cons
Everything else not stated in the Pros section. The Navy has gotten extremely political. Sucking up for good EVALS has become a way of life. Not to mention the retention system is the worst. Highly skilled and qualified sailors are getting kicked out for not advancing because we are not great test takers and the immature baby sailors are advanced just for making sure their name is correct..Biggest crock i have ever seen.
