Pros
This program was very rewarding, you get to watch your students grow and learn from you. Having a co/mentor teacher was very helpful. The feedback received was always very necessary to grow you as a future educator. Nevertheless, seeing teachers pour their passion for educating their children and instilling within them the preparation to be and do better is very inspiring. The pay is good; however, if you live in NYC it's pretty average because of the cost of living.
Cons
The hours you spend teaching with no real lunch break to breathe because the kids lunch time is your lunch time. Also, the stress of having high data results is pretty taxing, not all students are the same and they need individual attention.
