Pros

Free Lunch(Only Veg) that's the only Pro I could say

Cons

- Micromanagement at its peak There is zero trust in employees. Managers constantly interfere in every small task without adding any real value. Leadership clearly lacks the ability to handle teams or projects effectively. - Outdated and technically weak leadership A large portion of senior staff have been in the company for 10–15+ years, but many are completely out of touch with current technologies. Decisions are often made without proper technical understanding. - Forced and artificial use of GenAI tools Employees are pushed to use internal GenAI tools mainly to show fake “effort savings” to clients. It feels more like a numbers game than actual innovation. - Extremely poor job security If you are hired for a project, your survival depends entirely on its billing. The moment billing stops, your job is at risk. There is no safety net, no planning, and no internal support. - Layoffs and exits without warning People can be asked to leave on very short notice. There is a constant fear of job loss, which creates a highly stressful environment. - Appraisal system is a joke Two appraisal cycles mean nothing. No matter how much effort you put in, you’re likely to get an average rating (3/5 – “Meets Expectations”). Managers don’t even bother discussing it—they just close it. - No real hikes or fair pay Salary increments are negligible or zero. Variable pay is never fully paid and is usually capped around 80%, regardless of performance. - Non-inclusive work environment In many teams, communication heavily happens in a regional language during meetings and informal discussions, which leaves others feeling excluded and disconnected.

Pros

ValueLabs is a fantastic midsized company that truly values its employees. The company has given me every opportunity to grow both personally and professionally. The leadership is approachable and encourages a supportive, collaborative culture. ValueLabs is truly ahead of the curve as an AI-first company. Working here gives you direct exposure to our proprietary AiDE® platform, which is redefining software engineering and business operations. It’s a meritocratic environment where you don't just use AI; you build with it to solve complex enterprise problems. The company has a "Human + AI" paradigm that empowers us to be more productive and creative. Being a midsized, founder-led firm, it offers the agility to innovate quickly while providing the stability of a global leader.

Cons

The transition to an AI-first delivery model means there is a steep but rewarding learning curve. You need to be highly adaptable and ready to tune into new technologies quickly. While the support is there, the expectation for personal growth and technical agility is high.
