Pros
This job is definitively flexible!
If you are good at what you are doing and can take some constructive feedback, it will be easy for you to make money in your spare time. You can also gain work experience, get the chance to work on interesting projects and extend your knowledge in various areas as they usually have clients from quite different fields.
Another pro is definitely the overall nice tone, starting with the system generated emails when new tasks come in over the friendly and warm notes from the community managers to the nice messages you receive here and there from the management (Ryan and Kunal).
Recently (finally!!) they changed their method of payment so you will not get charged paypal fees. Thank you! Those small percentages do add up!
Cons
One downside is unfortunately the pay. You have to be really good at what you are doing to make money. If you are having a hard time translating in your 9-5 job or just think because you are kind of fluent in English and another language you can do this easily while watching TV - I have to burst your bubble.
The reviewers are very thorough and if your work is not good, you will have to redo it or sometimes will not even get a chance to work on it again (if it is too bad) which means zero pay.
Sometimes the reviewer messages could be clearer. I wish some would mention more in more detail what they corrected, that is the only way to improve.
