Pros
+ Balanced work hours, very comfortable for working parents. + CEO, President and other Cxx get really nice salaries/bonuses (but with no correlation to their or the company's results). + Employees are mostly really nice to each other but in many cases they don't like to share information.
Cons
- in the Santa Clara office - the salaries are ridiculously low for this area. if someone says they pay good he must be referring to the Atlanta office or somewhere else in the world, NOT in Santa Clara. - SC office is dying, lots of politics and very little doing. - managers are dead from the inside, no vision no future - that's the burned tree that's dead from the inside but looks alive from the outside. - Almost zero investment in the employees. i.e. you need to fight someone or wait for someone to get fired to get a second screen! Developers and QA engineers must have 2 screens to get higher productivity. The company only cares about saving few dollars. - Winter time, it's cold outside and surprisingly extremely cold inside too. Heating system stopped working and it took over 2 weeks to fix - if it would have happened in your house wouldn't you fix it in a day or max 2 days?? but if you are the cheapest company in the valley, it might take over 2 weeks to fix... sad, really really sad since it wasn't so just few years ago. - The atmosphere in general in the Santa Clara office is not that good. - Most Employees are looking for a new jobs, ask them if they want to stay there and why do they hide Gayle's book - "Cracking the Code Interview".
