Pros
Flexibility with scheduling and one hour lunch break as well as advancements into immunization administration
Cons
This is specifically for the Brook Rd location. I have never been so disrespected and treated so poorly by my fellow coworkers before at any job that I have worked at. The crew at the back of the pharmacy’s only priority is to stay back there and not manage the line at the front that always snakes around the pharmacy. The pharmacy manager seems to mean well but unfortunately management is not efficient at their job and handling workplace conflicts or drama which this place was full of. There is room for growth to become an immunizing technician and also get multiple certifications which is a plus if you plan on staying there, but this specific location has been the worst I and other floater technicians I know have worked at. The patients at this location are already challenging to work but I’ve had multiple moments where PATIENTS have commented on the lack of respect the people behind the counter have for newer techs. There’s an insanely high turnover rate as well which management is extremely well aware of. I would not recommend working here at all, this was honestly the worst job experience I have had ever. Also, the lead technician threatened to call my new place of work and report me for being unprofessional by instating my notice period immediately, which was done after I had reached my limit with the constant unprofessionalism and misbehavior from the staff at this location.
