Pros
Some of the people who work here are fun, smart, driven, and helpful. You have to be dedicated to stay here because you won’t get any support from other departments or management. The office is in a convenient location.
Cons
WhatCounts sets their Account Managers up to fail—Management makes endless promises to clients they can’t/won’t keep, putting account managers in the difficult position of trying to retain clientswhile being unable to follow through. There is no communication between departments. Technical department is never held accountable for failure to support account managers and projects. Rapidly growing organization that is buying up smaller ESPs around the country with little organization or forethought on how to merge multiple businesses at once without total chaos and employee attrition. Any promises made to you by management GET IN WRITING. There’s a pattern of backing out of deals on management’s end. Highly unprofessional Directors who yell, curse, and even storm out of meetings when they don’t agree on something, making for a hostile and difficult political environment.
