I enjoyed Whitebox very much, they helped springboard my career to new heights and it was a great place to build and leverage experience to start my own fund.

The most Senior Partner works in Australia and is not connected to the culture, does not seem to care about others.

Whitebox is truly a one of a kind workplace. Most people are laid back, easy going, yet SMART SMART SMART!!! It is very rare. They truly know their stuff, but don't push their elitist attitude on you. Those who have worked in banking and private equity know what I am talking about. At Whitebox, there really are no egos, just collaboration. Moreover, the office is beautiful! The working environment cannot be better and the amenities are great. Super comfortable decor, nice kitchens, and easy going and efficient HR. Work-life balance is totally manageable, you can work from home pretty much any time.

Sometimes people can be so easy-going and laid back, that things don't go as quickly as they could. But that's the thing a lot of people like about Whitebox I guess.
