Pros

Tenure can be rewarded with opportunities to move upwards in the company. Custom tools for quoting are very easy to use and efficient which leads to a smoother sales process that reduces downtime and leaves you with more time to actually pitch products. Communication of changes is frequent and effective, with only extremely rare cases where communication was either not clear enough or lacking information in some way.

Cons

You are expected to be a telemarketer for free, as it was added to the workload with zero pay increase and extremely minimal sale gains (depending on location) despite hundreds of calls per month per representative. The hourly pay is low, and will not provide a safety net of any kind for you on slow months. When the company does poorly as a whole, you will feel the repercussions while your seniors go on yearly company-paid trips to tropical locations. Reps can win these trips as well, but it's heavily stacked in favor of the highest traffic stores within each categorization of stores. Very high turnover at a lot of stores, causing a near endless cycle of trainees. Highly dependant on store location, but workplace environments can turn toxic quickly.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. At Wireless World, we take employee input seriously when shaping company policies and programs. Our goal is to provide a positive workplace culture where employees feel valued and fairly compensated. We use market guidelines to offer competitive wages, combining an hourly wage with commission and bonuses. While our employee turnover is significantly lower than the retail industry average, we recognize that there is always room for improvement. Since this role is in sales, it has consistently involved the responsibility of conducting customer phone calls as part of its job requirements and expectations. We sincerely appreciate your comments, and we are actively working to be more attentive and proactive in the future. If you have further concerns, I encourage you to discuss them with our Owners and/or HR.
