Pros
- Great exposure, hugely respected in the energy sector - Progression is good, there’s a lot knocking it on here but if you work hard and deliver, you will see progression but be prepared to work - If you are interested in your industry it’s perfect, you get paid to learn more
Cons
- Overworked, there’s a misconception from execs that the work life balance is good. But listen, it’s not. Most employees working overtime in order to see progression as that is earned not given. - Underpaid: pay is about 20-40% less than almost everyone could get elsewhere. - Retention: because of the above there are constant vacancies and the global execs do not see this nearly as severe as they should be. Puts stress on the remaining team who eventually also leave in order to be paid more and work less.
