Writers Domain is an awesome place for freelance writers to get their feet wet. They have steady work and pay decently for the articles and onsite blogs. They offer payment through Paypal and you can request payment with only $25 worth of writing approved.
Cons
Depending on who reviews your articles, the editors can sometimes nit pick over little things. Sometimes the editors get backed up with work to approve and it takes a few days to be able to cash out your pay.
