Pros

You get a paycheck and have access to a free gym. Very relaxed work environment. PTO is very generous despite this being the worst job that I've ever had.

Cons

If you are hired at the Gainesville, GA office you will start out as a night dispatcher working 4 to midnight. At the onset you will be sold on how sexy sales is and you will be regaled with how one guy a few years ago made it to sales in 4 weeks. This is an outlier. You will be on nights for a year minimum making 14 dollars an hour. The job is very menial and repetitive. You will be treated like a secretary by the sales reps and most drivers are going to be curt or abusive because, well, truck drivers. For a time this is ok because you're just paying your dues and waiting for your turn. In my own personal experience my managers waited 10 months to tell me that I didn't have a future with the company as a salesman and was not given an alternate career path to work towards. I wasn't given a reason why I did not have a future there and was told 'we don't want you to think you're next to go to the day shift.' as my only professional feedback. Be prepared to work with children who have no discernible skills besides throwing paper balls and lying to truck drivers. Not a professional environment at all. Nepotism is rife. One of my peers who literally watched porn on their work computer and rarely took incoming calls was moved upward about a week before I left. I am still wondering what it is I did to not have a future there but quitting was downright a pleasure.

Pros

Great benefits and senior leadership has a goal to provide excellent service, competitive pay, and recognition for hard working team players, looking to put their best foot forward every day.

Cons

Can be stressful at times when working in logistics, but this is common in the industry and often more related to fluctuations in economic factors.

Pros

I have enjoyed my time with XPO and appreciate the opportunities the company has provided for both personal and professional growth. The team environment is supportive, and I've had the chance to build strong relationships with coworkers and customers over the years. One of the things I value most is that hard work and dedication are recognized. Every day brings new challenges, which keeps the job interesting and allows me to continue learning. Leadership encourages employees to find solutions and work together to provide excellent customer service. Like any large company, there are busy periods and opportunities for improvement, but overall, XPO offers a solid career path, competitive benefits, and the chance to make a real impact. If you're someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is willing to put in the effort, XPO can be a rewarding place to build a career.

Cons

The transportation industry is constantly changing, so employees need to be adaptable and able to handle shifting priorities. Workloads can be demanding at times, but the teamwork and customer relationships make it rewarding
