Pros
Decent PTO. Good eye insurance. You can show up late and no one cares. Manager NEVER around so you are left to your own devices. Good ol' boys network.
Cons
Health insurance ($425+ for a family, not to mention huge deductible). Churn and burn atmosphere. Unless you have set accounts you manage that meet your monthly GM quota, you are expected to be cold calling outdated or newly searched customers. EVERY "off the street" sales rep in my office has turned over in my 2 years there. Only ones here have major accounts they manage (and were gifted in most cases). Pay structure has been significantly changed 2 times in 18 months. Sales heals all wounds. Zero sense of urgency. If you are a procrastinator, than XPO has a seat for you. They'll eventually fire you, but at least you can cash a paycheck for a couple of months. CFO came out with an email praising everyone for quarterly sales, 2 weeks after huge pay cuts in commissions went into place. How funny is that? That was followed by an email from the CEO saying XPO was voted one of the best places to work. Another joke.
