Pros

Supportive colleagues and a flexible work-from-home environment.

Cons

The workload consistently exceeds the available time and resources, creating challenges in meeting deadlines and maintaining efficiency. The organization has a significant number of employees who are friends or family to the owners creating allowances that shouldn't acceptable. The current systems in use, AIM and ImageRight, are outdated and frequently encounter issues. Weekly disruptions are common, such as Outlook malfunctioning, AIM being non-operational or experiencing significant lag, and the need for regular server restarts to restore functionality. Additionally, there are challenges with management practices. Leaders often make grammatical errors in communications and frequently alters daily processes, leading to confusion and inefficiencies. Furthermore, account executives are held to inconsistent standards, which vary based on the book of business they are assigned.

Pros

Good benefits and the usual amenities.

Cons

If you're not related to the owner, don't expect equal treatment. HR is a joke because they believe their only job is protecting the company from employee lawsuits instead of promoting diversity and a positive workplace. It's the old adage "Keep your head down and shut your mouth, if you want to keep your job". Management is Lilly-white and light on experience and heavy in cronyism, which is why the "State Agency" badge. Mid-level management is also Lilly-white and a prime example of promoting the least qualified. On any given day, if you approach a manager with concerns or complaints, the usual reply is "If you don't like it, then go work somewhere else". HR sides with the company, and will ask you to sign your rights away before they will intervene. It's called job preservation. In an age when Diversity, Equality and Fairness are in the news, this company does a great job of "Window Dressing", but move the curtains back and you'll see the ugly truth. No people of color hold important management positions. The people of color that have worked there for years are constantly ignored for promotions, which probably won't change until a lawsuit is settled.
