- direct communication, collaboration and delegation with client - timely checks

- no managerial oversight, almost no one to talk to when something goes wrong - no upward mobility (par for the course for contracts) - their payroll department lets many things fall through the cracks, especially PTO tracking - lackluster benefits - no company match 401k and the broker (ADP) is terrible and opaque with your investments
