Pros

1. Exposure to lot of bleading edge tech. 2. Leave policy doesn't require approval in most cases. You just need to inform everyone in your team. 3. Freedom of choice to use various development tools. 4. Internal web framework that makes developer's job easier. Instead of reinventing the wheel, you can focus on actual problems. 5. Not really a pros but - you'll probably (depending on project) get a MacBook Pro 16 maxed out specs. (It's big, heavy and hard to carry around) 6. Freedom to make decisions on your project. 7. Complete ownership of project - if you break it, you fix it 8. Flexible work timings. 9. People outside your team are helpful. 10. No dedicated devops team. So, you get to work on devops stuff.

Cons

1. No clear direction on where the company is headed. 2. It's both Service and Product based. You may be expected to work on both Service and Product teams which leads to lot of context switching. 3. Working hours may have to overlap with Eastern Time, meaning - late night working hours. But there is flexibility of logging in late. 4. Experimenting with random products. No proper idea on what to focus on. 5. Major communication gap between management and employees. Nobody knows what's happening in the company. 6. Monthly all hands is mostly a QA session with management. 7. No clear employee policies. 8. Lack of company vision or values. 9. High attrition rate. 10. Micromanagement is observed sometimes. 11. Even though WFH option is available, company tends to ask employees to come to office. 12. Onboarding experience is bad. 13. HR is mostly for salary related stuff and hiring. 14. Too much process on service side, while zero process on Product side. 15. No additional perks apart from salary and medical insurance. 16. Over-hiring freshers, with lack of proper training infrastructure. 17. Company is expanding in terms of number of employees, but the infrastructure, process is not scaling. 18. Lack of experienced Seniors/Leads to lead projects and mentor people. 19. Since most of the work is on back-end and there is no UX, Product managers act as only Project managers.
