As one of aeSolutions’ founders and its current CEO, I want to thank you for taking the time to share your experience. Feedback challenges us to reflect and improve. Since our founding in 1998, our services, structure, and strategy have evolved to meet the changing needs of our clients. What hasn’t changed is my belief that every team member brings a unique perspective — that’s the essence of our Inclusive core value. Still, we recognize that aeSolutions isn’t the right fit for everyone. When someone’s performance or behavior is not aligned with our core values or with our long-standing mission and vision, it’s often in the best interest of both the individual and the company to part ways. These decisions are never easy — either to make or to accept — but if we’re going to reach the level of excellence we’re capable of, aeSolutions must be a place where everyone is aligned and committed to delivering on our promises. I remain confident that by holding to this standard, we will continue to thrive and make a meaningful impact in our industry. Thank you again for your perspective. -Ken O'Malley, CEO

Pros

aeSolutions offers a lot of career growth and development opportunities for people who are motivated and eager to take on challenges. Senior leaders take personal interest in how employees are doing.

Cons

As a medium-sized company, there aren't as many "title change" promotions that you might see at larger companies with lots of employees/departments. May take longer to get a title bump vs. those types of companies especially in the smaller groups.

Pros

Remote or office work available.

Cons

Management clearly has its short list of favorite employees identified, regardless of qualifications. For example, senior technical managers that have almost no experience are now charged with technical oversight of projects. Note to staff: if you're not on that short list, you need to be considering other options. Considering the ongoing brain drain, I'm really surprised that AE keeps getting any business at all. There is a recent effort to promote from within, however, the pool of talent has shrunk so much over the years this will not work well. I see AE being sold off very soon.

As the CEO of aeSolutions I take all feedback seriously, while also considering the spirit with which it is given. While I don’t believe this review was written with the best intentions, it still offers a valuable perspective, telling me that our work to fully align our team members with our core values, mission, and vision is not yet done. Building and sustaining a culture of excellence and accountability is difficult, and I believe our current company leaders – the vast majority of whom have been promoted from within, with an average tenure of over 9 years – are the right people to accomplish this. I am immensely proud of aeSolutions, our entire team, and the expertise and value we bring to our clients. As we move into 2026, I will continue to encourage those who are not fully committed to delivering on our promises to do some serious self-reflection and determine if we are the right fit for them. -Ken O'Malley, CEO
