Pros

Free Lunch Every Friday (unless there isn’t)

Cons

Lack of support from upper management Bipolar and conflicting goals/mindsets from C-Suite Terrible compensation High churn and turnover Confusing tech stack Owners are short-sighted and often heard arguing with each other about the direction the company should go. Complaints go nowhere and something only changes if something drastic occurs. Owners are unwilling to adapt and change their business model when faced with high turnover and failure to meet client expectations. They blame everything on the employees while they are blameless. All problems come down to ‘staffing issues’. Of course there are staffing issues when you treat your employees the way you do. If everything is going smooth, you won’t get so much as a respectful nod from the owners, but the moment there is a bump in the road, get ready to weather a storm.

Pros

Everyone's voice is heard and respected, if you have a way to do something better then leadership will stick with you. Flexible work environment! eLink takes work/life balance very seriously for everyone across the board. Amazing team - It's one of the few places I've worked that you don't need to hear "We're all family" it just naturally apparent. Professional recognition is also something you will find here, if you put in the hard work rest easy knowing it won't go unnoticed.

Cons

None that I can think of

Pros

Your dev teammates and dev manager will probably be really cool, flexible people. Pre-and existing management are really nice. They talk a lot and have a great vocabulary when it comes to culture and family values. And they do in most ways. They know the business, they've been around and they do have great talent and teammates who mostly work together seamlessly (imo)

Cons

They don't actually act on those values they talk about. They pay you, and you get good insurance, and they might even help make you comfortable there. If you don't have a disagreement with them, you'll be fine. If you do, and they still don't trust you, you have a steep uphill climb, chasing a carrot that's just out of reach.
