Pros
• It's a company with a rich history in design. • There’s great working ethic and talent everywhere, such an environment encourages and inspired me as an employee then. • Hierarchy is flat which allows the opportunity for anyone to take lead. As long as you have skin in the game, it’s your time to shine. • Team work is highly encourage • Senior management are highly transparent. Often informing employees about matters that concerns the company. • Being a self-starter is highly encourage
Cons
• Mediocrity in work quality is tolerated from time to time because it pays the bills. There's trade-off for such a practice and it may seem to be a necessity to keep the lights on. • During my stint as a designer, big budget projects seems hard to come by due to a lack of opportunities. Because such an event went on for an extended period of time, career development in certain work capacity may stagnate and sometimes become stifling to a person’s creativity. *To be fair, the account of my work experience is a reflection of my time spent working in Edenspiekermann and is by no means an accurate reflection of the state of things in the company today.
