The shared department provides a good opportunity to gain/strengthen your customer service skills by working with a variety of businesses and customers simultaneously.

Cons

The employee training is not designed for the employee to succeed. It leaves you appearing incompetent to customers. You ultimately train yourself.

Management is very easy to work for. They are helpful if you need time off and make everyone feel great to be a part of the company!

Pay is low, they shame people in DEPARTMENT EMAILS instead of 1x1 feedback, and are nowhere to be found if leadership support is necessary While on phones.
