Pros

1) The colleagues are general nice and give you the space and time to maintain a good work life balance

Cons

1) The management in sales doesnt care about furthering your career in any way and the learning curve will be flat 2) There is a lot of talk around transparency and feedback but its non existent. Feedback is selectively heard, criticism is absolutely not heard and in the name of transparency you will hear what they want to tell you. Asking further questions will reveal that most team managers are working for their individual benefit and do not care about the value they bring to the company 3) They do ask for quarterly feedback but it doesnt seem to make any impact at all 4) There are no trainings, no learnings and management is extremely hands off. The management did not EVER ask me how they can help me achieve my targets but rather also gave solutions that were not based on data or logical analysis. 5) Decisions are made top down and not explained. Data backed analysis is rejected in favour of what the manager decides need to be done. 6) Within the sales team, the management is inept at setting reasonable targets. Last years numbers are ignored in favour of "wishful thinking" and there is no transparency on how these numbers were decided and how they will be realised. 7) Inter-team collaboration is a buzzword that "needs to be done". Which means non critical projects are put forward, multiple meetings held and multiple people brought into them for a goal that is not important and more of a side project. 8) Someone in management feels it is ok to be racist towards a certain country and people from there and others feel it ok to use this as a threat to push for better performance 9) Some other managers think it is ok to be racist to candidates and sexist towards colleagues.

Dear riskbuster, thank you so much for the time and effort you put into this detailed review. We are thankful for the fact you appreciate our work-life-balance and also the collaboration among colleagues. However, we are also thankful because your review shows a high level of dedication and we are glad that you care about our company. I firmly believe that this, i.e. the great riskbusters we have on board, their talent and motivation, is our #1 success factor. I would therefore like to seize this opportunity and we carefully examine all of the points you mentioned, because we always want to and need to get better. Some examples: there is budget available for training for every employee, but we can certainly get better in the communication around that. Also, we have worked and are working on the topic of Leadership, not only training, but also goal setting, to address quite a few of the aspects you mentioned. I am shocked and very negatively surprised about the behaviors you described towards candidates and employees of different backgrounds and genders. At riskmethods, there is zero tolerance towards any of these behaviors, as we state very clearly in our Code of Conduct. I therefore ask you to provide more concrete information on these serious matters either directly to me or via the completely anonymous reporting and whistleblowing processes which are known to all riskmethods employees. This is an important topic and riskmethods will not ignore it. Yours sincerely, Dr. Martin Beischl Chief Talent & Culture Officer budget for training

Pros

Our leadership encourages employees to think different and innovate to succeed even on non-traditional paths. Great to be founder of riskmethods and having established a management team that not only listens to our team members but also consider team-inputs having an impact on decisions. Our customer-statisfaction is extremely high (we have industry leading 2-digit negative churn rates!) and customers are strong advocates in the market: it´s a positive setting if your are in a CSM role and face customers every day (allows to support their journey in maturity and not managing complaints all the day), marketing roles (you get customer approvals for collaterals, webinar participations etc. without begging) and sales & sales development (I think it´s self-explaining how nice it is having a sexy product with strong demand and plenty of customer references to leverage). Many management or teamlead positions are held by employees that were promoted - this shows the job opportunities in a growing company. The office space in the US is awesome: great kitchen with full (free) catering services, a good gym inside the building and plenty of included offerings (yoga, running,...) and finally a nice view on Boston from floor 18.

Cons

If you expect to work in an environement where every process, role, organizational set-up is already built-out - better step back. We have set professional processes, organization design and leverage state-of-the-art tools but always open for better "stuff" to establish and adapt quickly. The office space needs to be expanded due to the strong growth, but management is already checking out additional space on same floor of the current building.
