Pros

The most amazing, caring humans you will ever hope to meet work here. Fully remote options, as well as a beautiful office.

Cons

The hours are always long. Expect to work mornings, nights, and weekends. People are praised for working long hours instead of apologized to. The client needs ALWAYS take priority over employees. Leadership is made up of people with little to no prior leadership experience. There are no clear standards around how to manage people. Leadership decisions are made without ever consulting the broader team. When anyone disagrees with leadership decisions, or suggests change in any way, those opinions are overlooked or the person who spoke up is reprimanded. There is a clear divide between the leadership team and the rest of the company. Pay is below average, and if you plan on negotiating pay, I hope you were captain of the debate team because they will do everything they can to NOT pay you more (unless you tell them you're about to leave of course). Don't be fooled by the idea of a fun culture. They flaunt culture around like a banner to distract you from true systemic problems in the org. Sure you get to go camping, volunteer, and have team parties. Are they fun? Yes. Do they reduce stress levels? No. Because the time you spent having fun will need to be made up for with, you guessed it, more work and late nights. The time off policy doesn't meet the needs of the stressed employees. When asked if they're willing to change it...ignored as usual. So much more to say, but if you're reading this review considering working here, I think you get the point.

We appreciate the kind words about us being the most caring people you ever worked with. Couldn't help but notice that comment is stark contrast with the rest of your feedback. We'd love to connect and chat more to better understand your position and perspective. Mainly because we do not feel your claims align with the overall culture and practices of our organization, and could benefit from some additional context. Long Hours: Our company values a reasonable work-life balance and strives to maintain it as a standard practice. While occasional additional effort may be required for specific projects, this is not indicative of our standard working hours. Additionally, we have Flex Time policies in place to give time back to folks when things slow down. Client Priority: We are committed to balancing client needs and employee well-being. Our approach is to ensure that the two are harmoniously aligned, and any instances to the contrary are exceptions, not the rule. Leadership Experience and Decision-Making: Our leadership team comprises experienced professionals who make well-informed decisions. We actively seek input from our team members, and leadership decisions are typically made collaboratively with various stakeholders. Pay and Negotiations: We have structured compensation practices and are open to fair negotiations. We aim to ensure that our employees are compensated fairly for their contributions. Company Culture: Our commitment to a positive company culture is genuine, and the fun activities we organize are intended to enhance the work environment, not detract from it. We prioritize employee well-being and aim to minimize stress. At times certain roles do need to provide client services during these activities, but we try to minimize the impact so they can still participate. Time Off Policy: Our time off policy is designed to accommodate the needs of our employees while ensuring operational efficiency. We are open to feedback and strive to make improvements that cater to our workforce's evolving needs. We believe our paid vacation schedule and PTO scales are competitive with other companies our size. We remain dedicated to our commitment to creating a supportive, fair, and growth-oriented work environment. Thank you for your feedback, and we will continue to work towards these goals.

Pros

Super fun, tight nit team. Lots of freedom in how things get done. The mix of strategy and execution means you actually get to make an impact and effect change, not just produce. It’s cool to come in as specialized experts in the area of AB testing. Interesting client mix from different industries. For people with entrepreneurial spirit and enjoy growth mode it’s a lot of fun.

Cons

The flexible engagements mean you’ve always got to be on your feet and nimble. The nature of ongoing engagements means there is never a true “ta-da” we’re done moment. If you aren’t into start-up mentality, might not be a good fit.

Pros

I worked at roboboogie for multiple years in different positions as the company grew and most recently in a CRO and digital analytics role. One of the major pros of working at robo has been the way the team operates. The management team has always been extremely transparent, empathetic and protective of the employees, treating us more as a 'family' than as employee vs employer relationship. I rarely felt pressure to overwork myself, I had clear role and responsibilities defined, and there was space for me to voice any complaints or concerns I had about projects, personal matters, etc. The team had a great inclusive and positive vibe, with a fun agency culture. I would say that my time at robo has been one of the best work experiences in comparison to other agencies or large corporations.

Cons

There were times when there was too much collaboration on projects or 'too many cooks in the kitchen' where we would spend too much time or effort revising or overperfecting work. The end product would be great and client happy but sometimes it was a bit exhausting.
