Pros
1. The responsibilities given to me went beyond my job title. I not only got to learn and grow as a Salesperson but also as a Marketer. 2. Management was very open to try out new things and helped me through my challenges in various activities. I was never worried about speaking up about something. They are great mentors! 3. The office environment is very open and friendly. I got my own space to explore and learn new things every day. 4. I never dreaded coming to work since the whole environment and culture made me feel like I was working to grow my own business.
Cons
You cannot get around without adjusting to a startup environment. You'll spend a few days working on things which are not under your job title, plans change often, things grow fast and it cannot be compared to an organized corporate or a normal 9 to 6 job. The environment demands to invest a few more hours, being responsible and accountable for what you do and also be flexible enough for any changes or challenges in the day. There is not one fine book to train you on how to perform your duties. There will be a lot of side projects you'll be during along with your daily activities which sometimes can be daunting but is a great learning experience.
