Pros

- Lovely team members for the most part - Large push for inclusivity with diversity groups and events - Support and push for CPD provision - Interesting work over a range of sectors - Based centrally - Good opportunities to learn and progress in what feels like a safer environment than most companies i've worked at previously - Push for training (whether you have time for that is another question...) - Yearly review based bonus

Cons

- Some studios prone to burnout and struggling for retention - Salaries and Promotions are only available once a year. You don't get it, too bad - this is becomming a HUGE issue internally. - You have to get lucky with who your project director is. Some projects you could be fully supported, next job you're working til 1am because your director forgot to tell you something important and needs it (at 2am?) and then is mysteriously un-contactable. - There is definitely some favouritism in certain studios - especially now there has been a further push to get back in the studio (which I think has been ill thought through... parents, commuting costs, neurodivergent people, people with accessibility needs constantly having to rework/show up differently etc.) - Pay is just starting to dip below competitive - Training is talked about constantly but I have yet to see any in progress / time taken out of standard project work to attend training of any sort
