Pros
Able to pick when you perform the job. However had to be completed in an arbitrary period of time. Minimal management interference and oversight. People at accounts are normally friendly.
Cons
Constant changes to rules that impact your commission negatively. Massive employee favoritism. If one employee had a big account and collected a massive commission the company allowed that employee to keep that account and make the other techs manage the other non lucrative accounts earning almost zero commission. Management poorly trains and diversifies technicians. Creates a disfunctional relationship with other tech to prevent cooperative workmanship. Will work excessive overtime with little or no concern for employees and will inform you vacation days get no approval since they do not have anyone to cover your position. When returning from vacation work is not completed by anyone else while gone so you have to work double or triple shifts and then chastised when behind on work.
